About

Emil Þór Gunnarsson is an Icelandic graphic designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a Master’s degree in Visual Communication from Konstfack. His work spans self-initiated projects and commissions across visual identity, typography, and printed matter.

Emil is also the co-founder of Cornershop Studio, together with Una Hallgrímsdóttir. The studio works across design, community, and sustainable food.

Cornershop is a food studio in Stockholm founded by Una Hallgrímsdóttir. It is a space for food-related explorations where sustainable cooking meets design and social engagement.

In the kitchen, the collective takes on catering projects, develops products, and hosts pop-ups, private dinner events, and cooking classes. From Friday to Sunday, Una serves an ever-changing menu using local and seasonal ingredients.
